2021 – week 33

Upside down = instead of announcing what we plan to do
(& most often find out we do not need to do), we relate what we really did

Building communities of trust is fundamental
to healing our collective wound.
At Plukrijp, we offer spaces of transparency and solidarity.
The community allows people to encounter each other
in truth and so develop trust.
We do the garden for YOU
Plukrijp functions on your frequent visits & harvests. Take along for friends & neighbours, this way we recreate real networks between us all, breaking down the illusory restrictions that now still separate many of us from our fellow man = UBUNTU.
The updated list of vegetables & fruit that can be harvested this week is available on our website under the heading “Current Harvest” :
If you want to volunteer at Plukrijp,
feel free to send your request to

A legacy of the 60s: Wozard of Iz

A gift of Love

Mawlana Jalaluddin Rumi Balkhi was a 13th century Muslim Sufi saint. After so many centuries his message of Love is being rediscovered and spread by people around the world. Mawlana Jalaluddin Rumi Balkhi or as commonly known as Rumi has written a few books among them is his famous Masnavi in Persian language. His main theme in his books are Love of Allah(god), which made him love humanity, nature and everything good. In his burning in the flame of love he has written many poems and couplets. The Love of Allah was ignited in his heart by his spiritual teacher(Murshid/ Shaikh) Shams e Tabrizi who took Rumi as his only student(seeker/ salik) throughout his life. To this day Rumi’s spiritual tradition continues known as Mevlavi Spiritual Order of Islamic Sufism( similar to Naqshbandia, Qadriya, Chistia, Soharwardia, Naqshbandiah Owaisiah spiritual orders), they are also known as whirling dervishes. Rumi’s message is of Love, which people need the most in these days. There is great wisdom in his poetry and his message of Love is for all.

Inspiring Books

It has long been suspected that although his books are universally classified as “comic fantasy,” Sir Terry Pratchett doesn’t really write fantasy at all. Sure, the majority of his literary output takes place on a flat world, carried through space on the backs of four humongous elephants, who in turn are supported by the gigantic turtle named the Great A’Tuin. And certainly this world is populated with witches and wizards, vampires, werewolves and zombies, trolls and dwarves and blue-skinned six-inch-high warriors. But all that is merely set-dressing. Over the years, the Discworld books have evolved from parodies of fantasy, to fantasy as parody of everything else, to satirical fiction that uses fantastical elements as a lens to view our own society.

Set in the slums of 17th Century London, Terry Pratchett recounts the self-discovery of ‘Dodger’, a 17 year old ‘Tosher’ (one who scavenges in the sewers for valuables lost forevermore to those above). His life in the dredges of this crowded and shanty city involves many-a quick witted dodging of undesirable consequences, questions, and invitations to more dereliction, if he’s to keep his head above the scummy, roaring Thames, that is.. Through a rolling of events he could never have imagined being a part of, things begin to invite him to not be a chess piece in this derelection, but an active player, provoking and dodging, seemingly in the same movement, revealing to himself the many games a streetwise, light-footed, and loose-moraled manish-boy can play with other active players to make them bite them bite their own tails, as it were.

In a time that feels much akin to London’s hungry river Thames, Dodger teaches us to play with the cards we’ve been dealt, all the while not thinking we are above sneaking a card or two into our sleeves if it means getting out alive. With an invitation to know what we are at our core and test the limits of what we take on as morals, Terry Pratchett shares with us the Art of Dodging as a fighting style that keeps us on our feet, out of trouble, and with an up on the game.

The games we play are lessons we learn.
The assumptions we make, things we ignore,
and things we change make us what we become.”

The absolutely full state of consciousness
is a joyously expanded field of awareness
free of mental filters or projections;
it is the opening to and welcoming in
of the whole of the present moment without conditions;
it is the granting of the heart’s consent to the moment as it is,
releasing mental fantasies of how it could or should be;
and it is the feeling of deep connection and presence
that comes from surrendering into true intimacy with the qualia of reality
as they offers themselves and permeate awareness in the now.
In this state, one’s innermost being is revealed as it really is:
permeating the whole of reality
and filled with the joy of experiencing what is.

Inspiring Text

written by Bernhard Guenther

KNOW WHO YOU ARE in your authentic embodied self. Your true self/essence can never be harmed or silenced. It rests in peace and its pure state is JOY regardless of external circumstances.

A warrior is joyful, clear about the challenges ahead and he doesn’t complain. He takes on any challenge and battle while never forgetting himself, the task at hand, and why he incarnated.

But don’t mistake his joy for “niceness” or blind compassion. He is fierce, direct, and the destroyer of illusions. He is detached from the opinions of others and can’t be bought.

The collective ego slumber of the consensus state of the programmed masses will always project their shadow on him for his LIGHT is a threat to the comfortable sleep they worship as they defend the chains they are in.

Their time will come but for now, the spitting of humanity is at full force. It’s a necessary split in light of the evolution of consciousness, so FIND YOUR TRIBE OF FELLOW WARRIORS, not just “like-minded” folks but warriors who are also engaged in the same work, within and without. Be a lion, not a sheep, and find the other lions.

The warrior’s only allegiance is to God/the Divine while he uses the necessary polarization and friction as the ferment for his own soul evolution, keeping the alchemical flame burning in his heart, transmuting lead into gold which radiates outward into the world with unforeseen ripple effects.

This is the spiritual warrior YOU are called to be in service to the Divine in whatever way HE manifests through you in alignment with the unique gifts you have to offer to the world [and still may discover] and soul lessons to learn along the way.

This path and calling in alignment with Divine Will will interfere with your personality, who you “think” you are, your past desires, aims, and goals of what you thought you “wanted” and all your attachments.

This is a time of letting go too, focusing on what really matters so you can be more efficient in your task and essentially find TRUE love and fulfillment which only the Divine can give.

You are needed during this Time of Transition. No one said this was going to be easy but you were made for these times. Make peace with death for this is the only way to conquer any fear; accept the mission and rejoice.

These are magnificent times to be alive considering the opportunity presented, so be grateful! But the only way out is in and through, hence the DARK needs to be made conscious of within and without.

Godspeed ⚔
