2022 – week 3

Upside down = instead of announcing what we plan to do
(& most often find out we do not need to do), we relate what we really did

Plukrijp turns 15 this year

For 15 years, Frank and Martine have welcomed, accompanied and taught all those who wish to live according to the principles of permaculture.

Hundreds of motivated people have enriched this place. We thank those who offered their quality of presence and put their talents at the service of Plukrijp.

It is time for us and for the earth to rest a little. In 2022, we are not going to cultivate the whole area. Some fields will be sown with cereals so that the land can regenerate in depth.

Abundance will remain at the rendezvous: as usual, there will be a beautiful panoply of vegetables, aromatic herbs and small fruits to harvest in exchange for a free donation in our magic hat.

Our enthusiasm to share our knowledge based on our long experience is unchanged. Contact us if you would like a guided tour (martine.plukrijp.be@gmail.com)

For those who wish to learn no-nonsense permaculture, we still offer training based on daily activities. Theory is learned and understood through practice. The number of volunteers will be limited this year. If you want to join us, send us an e-mail with your motivation and come and spend a few weekends with us first so that we can get to know each other better.

With love

Frank & Martine

At Plukrijp, we offer spaces of transparency and solidarity.
The community allows people to encounter each other
in truth and so develop trust.
We do the garden for YOU
Plukrijp functions on your frequent visits & harvests. Take along for friends & neighbours, this way we recreate real networks between us all, breaking down the illusory restrictions that now still separate many of us from our fellow man = UBUNTU.
The updated list of vegetables & fruit that can be harvested this week is available on our website under the heading “Current Harvest” :

This week @ Plukrijp
We did:

Celebrate Carlo’s 22nd birthday.

Repair pallets and did start to take apart the material for ceilings.

Take the plastic from the top of Tunnel 4, washed it, folded it and put it away. A gigantic work! Thank you team! So now, we have an empty place to seed cereals. This land can heal.

We filled Tunnel 1 with compost boxes so that the chickens can scratch it in.

Liberate the food forest from his nylon cover and discovered a very fertile soil which we scratched. We discovered many plants already showing themself for spring time. We might sow white clover in it.

Use the nylon removed from the food forest to finish building the wall to put the compost from the chicken coop

Honeyland

Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B27ORUHlp6E

Hatidze lives with her ailing mother in the mountains of Macedonia, making a living cultivating honey using ancient beekeeping traditions. When an unruly family moves in next door, what at first seems like a balm for her solitude becomes a source of tension as they, too, want to practice beekeeping, while disregarding her advice. ‘Honeyland’ is an epic, visually stunning portrait of the delicate balance between nature and humanity that has something sweet for everyone.

or Family life in the 21st nuclear family ?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u91ctugBCsg

In our newsletter 2021 week 41 we did share this video already. Niels wrote an interesting reasoning on the subject that we would like to share with all of you:

We all have narcissistic traits, and we inevitably participate in cult dynamics throughout our lives. At home, in the peer group, at work, in sports teams, when we form couples, in virtual environments, and eventually in the families we start.

For people that want to experience intimacy or shared work its useful to to discern cult dynamics within the social interactions we have and confront them without breaking or become cynical about social contact as a whole.

I work with red flags, if I see them I zoom out, take in extra perspectives Covid phenomena appears, I see red flags, I research by adding perspectives, I find the others, I take responsibility for my society by seeing which shadows I neglected, I share these perspectives with others.

Nuclear families dont’ seem to generate enough perspective on their own and as such they are insufficient to raise children to adulthood in the genetic time-frame. Steps we take to get out of this are not to turn on members of the nuclear family. Although we are free to ‘gray rock’ them. But to open the existing nuclear family up to the rest of the community and beyond.

People at plukrijp may have the chance to open up about their family life to a group this group can generate perspectives that, if understood, may complete/heal their nuclear family. Extended family is often not enough to get out of family patterns of abuse so take it easy on grandpa and grandma. Go out into the world and invite each other to plow the experiences back in with the couple/nuclear/extended family recount history and stories, this serves the same function.

Many people are having the same issues in this age of separation. We have no idea how common our symptoms are until we share with others. As such the subject bores me, and dear reader please get on with it, day after day. It’s a totally banal form of evil, there’s so much beauty in the world when you confront the soap opera that is your “life” your “problems”.

Off the Grid with Thomas Massie

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18_yXt1s2yc

Winner of Anthem Film Festival’s highly-coveted Audience Choice Award. Off the Grid with Thomas Massie is an intimate look at a congressman’s quest for a self-sustainable life on his farm in eastern Kentucky. “My philosophy is live and let live: You don’t worry about what somebody’s doing in their holler, as long as they don’t worry about what you’re doing in your holler.”

Alex’s comment:

I found this one inspiring/important because of this man’s attitude as well as the clarity and realness with which he lives his life. His career didn’t come from a place of ambition or righteousness, but in an incredibly natural way, from his dream of living on the land in a meaningful place and in a meaningful way. The fact that it still is his dream shows in the joy on his face. It’s another example of how purpose comes from meaning, and opportunities come in abundance.

The people around him recognized his clarity of interest as beneficial for the whole community, so he was brought into higher and higher authority. His thinking is precise and consequential, no nonsense. What struck me was how unshakably centered he remains, not allowing the power he holds to get to the core of who he is.

Fauci now says: “We need to learn to live with it”

Del Bigtree’s Highwire… Some of the very best reporting on CoVid. Focused, consistent, through.

In case you didn’t notice, Fauci has surrendered. He’s going to still keep pushing the fraud, but now he’s admitting:

1) their magic V didn’t work and

2) we’re going to have to learn to live with it.

Why do these people (the cult, cults in general) always end up sacrificing (children)?

Is it just symbolic for time consciousness, understanding that the future can be better if we sacrifice the now?

Or is it evil?

Or is this vaccination campaign the banality of evil?

5G Death Towers Activated: Flu-Like Symptoms Will Follow

https://forbiddenknowledgetv.net/5g-death-towers-activated-flu-like-symptoms-will-follow/

AT&T and Verizon are scheduled to deploy new 5G service this Wednesday but the CEOs of Delta Airlines, United Airlines, FedEx, UPS and others have sent a letter to the Biden administration warning that C-band 5G radiation disrupts airplane instruments that could make “huge swaths” of the US fleet unusable and cause the nation’s large airports to be under 5G-related flight restrictions from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

These frequencies interfere with altimeters and can significantly hamper landing the aircraft, which is the most crucial and dangerous part of any flight.

The CEOs say their deployment near airports will result in thousands of cancelled flights and strand hundreds of thousands of passengers and packages. “To be blunt, the nation’s commerce will grind to a halt,” they said.

They are urging officials to prohibit 5G from being implemented within 2 miles of affected airports until the FAA can determine a way for airliners to fly safely to avoid a “catastrophic disruption” to passenger flights and to the supply chain.

“Immediate intervention is needed to avoid significant operational disruption to air passengers, shippers, supply chain and delivery of needed medical supplies,” they wrote in a letter to White House National Economic Council Director Brian Deese, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, FAA Administrator Steve Dickson and Federal Communications Commission Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel.

Ordinary

Rashid Sitarazad received a party of intending students whose heads were filled with his wonders and the excitement of arriving so near to the source of the Teaching.

He said:

‘Let one of your be your spokesman, and let him tell me of your feelings.’

One of the visitors stepped forward and said:

‘We are stimulated by the Presence, and eager for the Knowledge, and elevated by the Tradition.’

Rashid said:

‘That is a truthful account of your feelings. Because you all love the exciting, I shall have to give you the banal. You are to learn through life. And life – the key to all knowledge – is the most banal of all things. You will have to undergo experiences which will make you understand life, not make it more interesting.’

One of those present exclaimed:

‘That man whom you asked to represent us speaks for himself, and yet we must all be judged by his behaviour!’

Rashid said:

‘He may think that he speaks for all of you. You may think that he speaks only for himself. But it is I who have agreed that he speaks for all. Are you already disputing my authority? To do so shows that you crave excitement, and verifies the words which you are trying to refute!’

Wisdom

I felt alone for a good portion of my life. The misfit, the black sheep, the ‘strange one’. This felt loneliness colored a lot of my experience. Eventually I accepted the idea that this is simply how life was. That I would be alone, in a sea of people.

It took several years before I learned, before I felt what true community was. A space of loving compassion, a place with people with shared interests and values, filled with mutual love and reciprocated relationship. Being witnessed by others, held up by their support, and challenged by their love for me and my own growth changed everything.

It healed my deep wounds of separateness and isolated, purified disempowering narratives, and provided me with a tsunami of vital life force that drove me to make the big, bold, & beautiful changes in my life that have made me who I am today.

My community helped me become myself. Community is healing. Your soul family is out there. Don’t stop searching. Seek out these spaces and find the others. They are already looking for you too.

Near Enemy #10:

Finding your soul’s purpose

https://hareesh.org/blog/2019/1/15/near-enemy-10-finding-your-souls-purpose?rq=near%20enemy%20%2310

To fully and completely simply be—a very rare thing for a human in the postindustrial world—is the ultimate expression of your human nature. You cannot fail at life, but you can fail to realize your true nature, and thereby fail to fully inhabit your natural state of being.
When such alignment is firmly in place, it will appear to others that that individual has ‘found their soul’s purpose.’ But the soul has and needs no purpose. Such a person has simply found their soul, which, it turns out, is all any of us really want.

in the nondual view, any life in which one knows the nature of being and allows it to dance in the ways that it does is a life well and fully lived, even if that life entails no achievement, accomplishment, or recognition according to the cultural values of the era.

(…)

Forget about finding your soul’s purpose
and become dedicated to finding your soul.
