Upside down = instead of announcing what we plan to do
(& most often find out we do not need to do), we relate what we really did

Building communities of trust is fundamental

At Plukrijp, we offer spaces of transparency and solidarity.
The community allows people to encounter each other
in truth and so develop trust.
We do the garden for YOU
Plukrijp functions on your frequent visits & harvests. Take along for friends & neighbours, this way we recreate real networks between us all, breaking down the illusory restrictions that now still separate many of us from our fellow man = UBUNTU.
The updated list of vegetables & fruit that can be harvested this week is available on our website under the heading “Current Harvest” :

10 Signs You’re a Spiritual Warrior

& How You Can Become One

By Hayden Crawford

A Spiritual Warrior is someone who looks at the negatives of the world (the fear, lies, false beliefs, and judgments) which are a source of pain and suffering on this planet and says no. They say no to self-compromise, no to unhappiness and no to allowing their freedom to be limited by negative energies.

Spiritual Warriors face an internal battle, that takes place in the heart and mind, to ensure they achieve their mission in life; to find their Truth and unconditional love. But it’s not an easy journey.

Characteristics and Traits:

Tremendous awareness, strength, discipline, and commitment to transform the emotional body are needed for Spiritual Warriors to reach their destination in this life. These are some of the characteristics of these soldiers of light.

1. Seekers Of Truth

They are willing to go as far as they can to learn what they don’t. Spirit Warriors are honest and although know the pain they sometimes inflict with truth, they believe it is essential for growth and personal development. Truth can unlock mysteries and solve solutions we all fear of trying. It literally can set you free.

2. Quest Of Self-Awareness

The most important tool of the spiritual warrior is awareness. Awareness is to perceive with clarity the truth of what is happening without interpretation or opinion. In a moment of awareness, the inner clutter of the mind stops. Self-awareness is the clarity to know who and what you are, and not get caught up in self-importance. These egoic concepts distort our sense of who we are. False images can lead us to low self-esteem or they can even take us into the realms of self-hatred.

3. Passionate, Dedicated & Persistent

A genuine spirit warrior doesn’t give up even when things get difficult. They are the one who is fueled by their passion and make an example of their life. It’s the one who is not devastated by a life’s turmoil. But more likely is showing everyone how to cope with disasters. They are committed to transforming the emotional body.

Their lives might be ruined time and time again, but as long as they breathe they are not finished. Even when they cross over they might keep influencing the living ones like enlightened spirit guides.

4. Follows The Intuitive Heart

A Spirit Warrior defies what everybody might think and follows his/her heart. Moreover, they are attuned to their intuition and they certainly trust their guts! They know that energy doesn’t lie. The enemy might be dressed up as a friend but a Spirit Warrior’s intuition alerts them. Their heart is true. Thus its messages are true too. The Spiritual Warrior’s discipline to continue on with their path when faced with challenges from their mind or other people’s opinion.

5. Lives For Love

Love is of tantamount importance to all the warriors of light. They recognize that love is the essence of wisdom. It is simply the language of the universe. The Spiritual Warrior must have the commitment to love themselves first. The warrior then extends that love to humanity.

The commitment is required because along the way they will fall many times. This unbreakable dedication helps them rise to their feet again. They aim to transcend judgment. It can be extremely difficult to love those that cause us harm. This commitment enables them to challenge their beliefs about their judgments and not being compassionate. They must be committed to love beyond self-serving interests, to ascend old beliefs and rediscover fulfillment.

6. Confronts The Shadow Self

A Spirit Warrior will look where others are afraid to look and go deeper within to shine light onto their shadows. They have the courage to question their own beliefs. It is through this process that we can dissolve the lies that cause our suffering. To challenge our own beliefs requires courage because it means the end of our illusion of safety.

7. Selects A Soulful Mission

A Spiritual Warrior knows that we all deserve happiness and that nobody wants to suffer. However, our actions are contrary to our aims. We go about trying to achieve happiness in the wrong way, like amassing material wealth, which often leads to dissatisfaction instead of the happiness we seek.

8. Uses Energy Wisely

A warrior of light understands that patience is a golden virtue. They are incredibly selective about how they utilize their energy. They know it must be spent wisely. Therefore they patiently wait until opportune moments arise before they take action.

9. Prioritizes Health & Wellbeing

Spirit Warriors are wise forces of light. They treat themselves with the utmost love and respect. Their goal is to change the world for the better so in order to achieve this they must be in the best physical, mental and emotional health as possible.

10. Gives Without Expectation

A Spiritual Warrior helps without expecting anything in return. They keep on giving, even when the circumstances are extremely difficult. You may not feel like helping a mean, old neighbor but you are willing to give of yourself to bring joy into their life.

Want to be a Spiritual Warrior?

Some people are natural Spirit Warriors, but many of us actually have to work to be able to call ourselves one.

The aspiration is colossal, but you start where you are, even if that means taking baby steps. Start by looking at the 10 traits discussed above and start to think how these are relevant to your life now and how you can begin to make changes in your life to incorporate them.

Of course, you won’t be able to maintain an ideal perspective all the time, but you’ll grow into it more and more as you regularly practice compassionate courage.

Inspiring Poetry
Then Almitra spoke again and said, and what of Marriage, master?

And he answered saying:

You were born together, and together you shall be forevermore.

You shall be together when the white wings of death scatter your days.

You shall be together even in the silent memory of God.

But let there be spaces in your togetherness,

And let the winds of the heavens dance between you.

Love one another, but make not a bond of love:

Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.

Fill each other’s cup but drink not from one cup.

Give one another of your bread but eat not from the same loaf.

Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one of your be alone,

Even as the strings of the lute are alone though they quiver with the same music.

Give your hearts, but not into each other’s keeping.

For only the hand of Life can contain your hearts.

And stand together yet not too near together:

For the pillars of the temple stand apart,

And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other’s shadow.
