Plukrijp was founded in 2007 and offers an alternative lifestyle that tries to give an answer to the challenges of our time. Our values: authenticity, simplicity, no-nonsense, togetherness, awareness, putting ourselves at the service of something greater than ourselves.
Our beautiful 1ha garden was created in 1972 by Frank Ruymen (1947-2022), a pioneer in organic farming, who has tirelessly taught the principles of permaculture since his retirement in 2007.
50 years of sustainable fertility results into a wide range of “purely natural” vegetables that can be harvested weekly by members of the association in exchange for a free donation.
The volunteers are part of the existing family, are housed and fed in exchange for 5 hours of participation in the necessary activities.
Places are limited and we give preference to those who wish to enrich this place while enriching themselves with new experiences. As a volunteer, you not only offer your hands but also your loving presence.
Discover the joy of living in simplicity on a daily basis.
