“The Kin School”, an alternative boarding school in Russia. The school is built entirely (physically) by the hands of the students. The students learn subjects in their entirety in one go: so the entire chemistry course of high school in one go, at whatever age a student is interested. Additionally, the courses are taught by students who have already mastered the material. They spent time designing the courses themselves. Subjects range from dance to gardening to mathematics to martial arts. The results really speak for themselves. You only have to look at the pride and lust for life these children exude to know they’re doing something right there! Very inspiring and humbling stuff; it truly shows what can be achieved by living together with all heads aimed at growth.
